As a Sales Manager at Tropos, you'll spearhead Business Development and play a key role in driving our company's further growth. In this pioneering role, you'll take ownership of the entire sales process, from identifying opportunities and nurturing leads to closing deals. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing new customer relationships 

Identify potential clients, understand their unique challenges, and position Tropos as a trusted long-term partner.

Effectively communicate our solutions and approach to align with client needs.

Collaborate with our software partners’ go-to-market teams to identify and close joint opportunities.

Use digital outreach techniques to contact relevant new opportunities.

  • Nurture existing customer relationships

Strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure our solutions consistently deliver value and identify opportunities to expand business. Regularly coordinate with our project managers to align expectations.

Convince your own existing buyers' network about Tropos' value proposition.

  • Sales Enablement Support

Maintain your sales pipeline in our CRM.

Collaborate cross-functionally within Tropos to craft compelling and realistic proposals and service agreements.

Participate in virtual and physical sales events and fairs in partnership with our software partners.

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies

Design and implement an effective sales plan.

Contribute to the development of the annual marketing and sales calendar.

Job requirements

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven experience in Business Development or Full Cycle Sales, preferably in data analytics, IT, or technology services.

  • Experience in sales pipeline development and quota achievement.

  • The ability to determine customer requirements and articulate technical solutions to business stakeholders.

  • Accustomed to communicating and maintaining relationships at D- and C-level. 

  • Ideally, you bring with you a relevant network that you have built during previous roles.

  • An independent, self-starting mindset, capable of steering projects autonomously and navigating challenges effectively.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong relationship management skills and a positive, results-driven attitude.

  • Fluent in English and Dutch (additional languages are a plus).

  • A valid driver’s license.
