ABOUT THE JOB

As a Data Analytics Engineer, you architect and implement the data backbone that powers intelligent decision-making. You design robust data pipelines and infrastructure that not only collect, store, and process large-scale data, but are also optimized for flexibility, scalability, and real-time insights.

In this future-oriented role, you go beyond traditional ETL workflows and structured data. You will shape and refine data from diverse formats—text, images, video, and audio—into AI-ready structures, enabling advanced analytics and machine learning use cases. You will develop purpose-fit data models that allow clients to extract nuanced, high-value insights from multimodal data sources.

Collaboration with business stakeholders is central to your work. You translate complex business challenges into clear data and AI strategies, co-develop transformation logic, and apply best-in-class data modeling techniques. With a strong understanding of the user journey, you’ll also design intuitive dashboards and analytical tools that make insights immediately actionable for end-users.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, data science, and business, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-evolving landscape where data fuels innovation and intelligence at every level.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Eager to learn

  • An analytical thinker who enjoys solving complex puzzles

  • A team player with a growth mindset—for both self and others

  • Passionate about technology and people, and able to communicate effectively with both

  • Holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

Additional skills that are a plus:

  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies, data modeling, machine learning, AI, dashboarding

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python

  • Fluent in English (Dutch and French are a plus; other languages are a bonus)
